Vanilla Syrup

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 cube of REAL butter.

Mix together and bring to a boil. Boil one minute then add:

1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla

Serve warm.

We call this candy syrup. It tastes like magelbys. Don't try your kids won't go back.
