Ingredients:
2-3 boneless chicken breasts
1 lb. hot italian turkey sausage (or something similar)
1 lb. bowtie pasta
3-4 T. olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1- 14 oz. can diced/crushed tomatoes w/ juice (Italian seasoned - best)
1/2 c. red wine
2 T. fresh basil
salt and pepper
Feta cheese (1/2 pkg) *may omit if don't like feta
Heat oil and saute garlic to flavor. Add sausage and brown lightly. Add chicken and cook almost all the way through. Add tomatoes and wine. Bring to a boil and let simmer about 15 minutes. Add cooked pasta and feta. Serve.

This was a big hit at my house, and I loved how easy it was to put together. We served it when Grandma & Grandpa came to visit. With a mixed green salad and balsamic vinaigrette dressing and an artisan bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side this was better than going out to dinner!
I liked this recipe. I am now converted to turkey sausage.
