Southwest White Chili

Fry together until cooked:
1 lb. chicken, cubed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 ½ tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbls. Oil

In soup pot add:
chicken mixture
2 cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained
2 cups chicken broth
1 small can green chilies, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
½ tsp. pepper

Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Before serving add 1 cup sour cream and ½-1 cup of whipping cream. Allow to get hot.

I double the recipe and freeze it before you add the sour cream and cream. I think it is even better. Also, if you are on a diet, don't add the creamy stuff and it still is really good.
